Getting Started

Customizer

Once you have activated your theme you should take a few minutes to read over and configure the  Theme Customization page. Click Appearance > Customize to load the theme settings. From here you can change site logo, theme styling, colors, etc...

Post Formats

The Wentasi theme provide 10 post format:

Custom Widgets

The Wentasi theme comes with 4 custom widgets that can be used to configure how your site displays content – they can be found under  Appearance > Widgets.

WFT - Flickr Widget

This widget allows you to configure and display Flickr photos from a user’s photo-stream.

  • Title – Title of the widget
  • Flickr ID – The Flickr ID of the group or user’s photos you wish to display. You can find your Flickr ID at idGettr.com.
  • Number of Photos – Choose the number of photos the widget will display.

WFT - Recent Posts Widget

This widget allows you to show your latest blog posts in widgetised areas.

  • Title – Title of the widget
  • Filter by Category – Choose a category for filtering.
  • Number of posts – Input the number of recent posts to display.

WFT - Popular Posts Widget

This widget allows you to show your popular blog posts in widgetised areas.

  • Title – Title of the widget
  • Number of posts – Input the number of popular posts to display.

WFT - Newsletter Widget

This widget allows you display a newsletter sign-up form – the widget has options to configure the title and add a description.

Custom Page Templates

Archives Template

The theme comes packed with a simple archives template. To create your archives, simply create a page using the “Archives” page template. The archive lists will automatically display below any page content. Lists include the last 30 posts, archives by month and archives by subject.

Full Width Template

The Full Width template allows the creation of a page without a sidebar. The main content will span the full width of the site. To use the template, simply create a page using the “Full Width” page template.
